Time Flies

November was a very busy month for us. The first weekend, Dan had a motocross race that we went to and made a mini camping trip of it. Here's Dan on his dirt bike.

The next weekend we took advantage of the really nice winter weather and did some yard work in preparation for a rock delivery. Not sure when that will happen as we have some more prepping to do.

From the 21-23rd, Carleigh had a sleep over with Grandpa Danny & Grandma Susan, then a sleepover with Grandma Mary and Grandpa Len. While she was doing that, Dan & I went with Uncle Ryan and Aunt Gina on camping trip in the middle of nowhere, literally. We went riding on the dirtbikes and quads in the desert northeast of Lovelock. Surprisingly we had neighbors!! Here's a picture of them.
Then it was Thanksgiving. On Saturday, we had Dan's brother Marvin and his sister Gina along with their family over for dinner. Cousin Cooper taught Carleigh how to "Give 5" and Cousin Amanda was in town from Portland.

This is Uncle Ryan sharing his pie with ice cream & whip cream. She saw him sit down, walked over to him and said "Hi" in such a way that Ryan couldn't resist.

And here's Aunt Deena teaching Carleigh how to lick the whip cream off the spoon! Yeah for new experiences. Amazingly, after all this sugar, Carleigh slept until 8am the next day!

Carleigh's vocabulary has expanded quite a bit. She does say "hi" and "bye" as well as doing a different wave for each word. She's also saying "uh oh" and tries to point to her eye while saying "eye" (usually she point to her nose or her hair). She does understand almost everything you say to her! She's toddling all over the place and getting into things. She's so amazing to watch!
