Santa Train & Other Fun

Last weekend Carleigh and I along with Grandma Mary, Grandpa Len, Aunt Danielle and Uncle Cody drove to Portola, Ca to see the Santa Train at the Railroad Museum. We had a lot of fun drinking cider, eating cookies, and riding the train which was decorated with Christmas lights. Carleigh didn't care much for Santa or Mrs Clause but that could be for any number of reasons. To see some pictures of the Santa Train at night (our pictures didn't turn out well) go to http://wplives.org/2008santatrain/ .

This weekend was cousin Cooper's 12th birthday. Carleigh was very interested in Cooper's guitar and he was great in letting her play with it.
She even tried to play a video game with cousin Cameron but she didn't have the right Wii remote, which I'm sure Cameron was okay with.
On Sunday, after church and while the boys went paintballing for Cooper's birthday, the girls hung out at Aunt Gina's with cousin Amanda, our friend Becky and her 3 week old baby Rachel. Carleigh let me hold Rachel but only if Carleigh was also in my lap. Carleigh kept touching Rachel's hand and going "oooo" and trying to say "baby" only it sounds a lot like "bye-bye" but we're working on it.

Next weekend, Grandpa Gerry & Grandma Linda will be in town celebrating Christmas with the Small's in Reno so we'll have more pictures to post then.
