We went to the doctor on Monday (6/23) and she's 14 pounds 2 ounces and 27 inches tall! She's meeting all her milestones but has fallen off the weight curve a bit so the doctor wants us to add an extra bottle to her daily routine. How interesting that she needs to gain weight when it seems the rest of society is trying to maintain or lose weight!!
Carleigh has learned how to clap her hands and is getting much better at balancing herself on her feet...no hands. She's starting to drink out of a tippy cup but prefers a regular cup and likes Cheerio's. She's discovered she can kneel and sit on her feet and that the dog water is fun to splash in! She's getting much faster when she crawls, which can sometimes be scary!
On Father's Day, Carleigh was dedicated in our church. She liked all the attention she was getting and it was great to have the congregation pray for us. That same day, it was discovered that the gravitational pull of Carleigh's hand to a glass is greater than the parental pull away from the glass and that the two forces results in spillage. It was also discovered that orange juice makes dad's pants sticky!
Here's some pictures to enjoy!
